The PTCL trade unions action committee has decided to boycott the negotiations with management. The action committee has taken this decision after the failure of negotiations today. The action committee has said that they were forced to take this decision by the non serious attitude of the management. They have alleged the management for this dead lock. The action committee has also announced to withdraw all the demands except the privatization. The action committee has make it clear that they have dropped all the other demands including the increase in wages, but we will not accept privatization. Now the negotiations will be held only on this issue. We will not call off the strike, until government announces to stop the privatization.

TURCP and SMP members were also present in the meeting. They were cheered by the leaders when they read the solidarity messages from the different trade unions and political parties. The action committee unanimously passed the resolution to thank the all the trade unions and political parties from Pakistan and internationally, which have send the solidarity messages. The action committee specially appreciated the role of the TURCP in this vital struggle.

The action committee has announced to completely jam the telecommunication systems for indefinite period, if government tried to arrest workers and leaders. Now the leadership has decided to return back to their respective areas to organize the all out strike. The situation has become very tense. It will be clear in the morning that what the government want to do to defeat this strike. The detailed report will be send in the morning.
